Basic Obedience
A 6 week course for adolescent or newly adopted dogs who want to polish their skills.
The Course Focus:
- Cues such as "look," "sit," "down," "come," "side," "drop it," "leave it," "stay"
- About town behaviors such as "Loose leash walking," "heel," as well as polite social interactions with 2 and 4 footed friends.
- Integrating your new family member into your home
- How to prepare your dog for stress free trips to your veterinarian
- Styles of equipment and what is right for you companion
Intermediate Obedience and Building for the Canine Good Citizen
A 6 week course to begin preparing for the CGC test.
The Course Focus:
- Building and basic commands; increasing duration and distractions
- Specific work on the 10 test components: accepting friendly stranger, sit politely for petting, apearance and grooming, loose leash walking, walking through a crowd, sit/down/stay, come when called, reaction to another dog, reaction to distraction, and supervised separation.
Puppy Series
A 6 week course, in your home, starting as early as 9 weeks old and laying the foundation for maners. Using positive training methods, combining verbal cues and hand signals, we will begin to develop communication between you and your newest family member.
The Course Focus:
- Cues such as "look," "sit," "down," "come," "drop it," "leave it," "stay"
- Discussion on diet, exercise, equipment and how to prepare your puppy for stress free trips to your veterinarian
- Overcoming challenges such as loose leash walking, jumping, chewing and potty training
- Courteous social interactions with dogs, other household pets and people

Brass Tacks - Team training for you and your pooch!
This 4 week class is geared toward newly adopted dogs (but all are welcome!), 5 months and up, and their humans. We will focus on building the bond between each team through a series of games and exercises that will lay the foundation for your future together and have fun while you're at it!
The Course Focus:
- Discussion on equipment, diet, and exercise
- Cues such as “leave it,” “drop it,” and “come”
- Respond to their name, offer their collar when you reach for it, and politely greet friends
